How to Make a Mutant

Descent with modifications is the idea that offspring will be slightly different from their parents. These differences we now know are due to random mutations and patterns of inheritance. When you hear the word mutation most of us think cancer or some other disaster which is a definite possibility, but mutations can sometimes lead to positive changes. No, unfortunately we are not talking the Marvel movie type of positive changes. We aren’t about to be hanging out with Magneto or Wolverine anytime soon, but if you ever decide to procreate just know you will be producing you very own little mutant.

Love is Hard

I had always known how difficult raising children would be and I knew that raising them alone would be even more difficult. My ability to plan helped with the logistics but children require so much more than a logistical task master. They need a person to talk to. Some one to teach them what life is about. They need more than food, clothes, and shelter. Children need to be loved. Loved and parented so that they can grow, live, and pass that love on to the next generation. Sounds simple but I wasn’t raised that way. I did’t feel that I possed enough love for myself, so there was definitely not enougy to be pass on to the next generation.

All paths are one

I was seven when the Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark came out and ten when Romancing the Stone hit the big screen. I was instantly in love and KNEW that I would one day be an archaeologist traveling the world hunting down treasure and finding romance as I did. I will admit that prior to this revelation, I thought I was going to be an astronaut and have space adventures like in Star Wars but that was back when I was a little kid. Raiders and Romancing the Stone came out in the early 80s I was much more mature by then and therefore able to make more realistic life choices! LMAO!
